Gerry’s dnata handled Pakistan’s 1st Formula Electric Powered Car To Attend A Contest For SAE Lincoln 2016

Gerry’s dnata is proud is to handle Pakistan’s 1st Formula electric powered car. The car is the first to be selected for the Formula SAE Lincoln 2016, a leading competition for undergraduates, to be held in June this year.
Formula SAE is a series international student design competitions organized by SAE International in different countries. The competitions challenge student teams to design, build and test cutting-edge electrical and combustion formula-styled vehicles, based on a series of rules and events whose purpose is to ensure reliability and safety, all the while focusing on maximizing vehicle performance parameters such as acceleration and handling.
Formula SAE Electric (FSAEE), held annually in Lincoln, Nebraska, USA, is a part of the annual series and is the foremost focus of teams designing electric vehicles. 29 teams from universities around the globe will be participating in this year’s event, to held from 15 to 18th of June.
Gerry’s dnata conducted interview with participants and team is certainly geared up to put up a good show at the international event after spending 16 months planning, researching and manufacturing the car.
The team is set to represent Pakistan at one of the world’s most challenging educational motorsports competition, Formula SAE Electric. This will be Pakistan’s first ever representation at the competition.
