Global Aviation (Pvt.) Ltd. acquires KLM Cargo GSA

Global Aviation (Pvt.) Ltd., a subsidiary of Gerry`s Group, acquires KLM Cargo GSA for Pakistan. The agreement was signed between Mr. Akram Wali Muhammad (Managing Director) and Mr. Arshad Wali Mohammad (Group Director) from Gerrys and Mr. Guy Lenain (Vice President) and Mr. John Engelaan (Director) from Air France KLM Cargo.
Gerrys has the distinction of being one of the largest aviation groups in Pakistan and is now ranked as Pakistan`s largest travel, air cargo, information technology, telecommunication and aviation concern. Employing staff strength of 2000 people, Gerrys is honored to represent a number of international airlines which include Virgin Atlantic Airways, Kenya Airways, Etihad Airways, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, Air France, Air Canada, Royal Caribbean cruises, Oman Air, Air Arabia, United Airlines and Cyprus Airways.
Gerrys also takes pride and pleasure to represent worlds renowned all cargo airline - FedEx Inc. offering air express and cargo services. In addition to GSA representation, Gerrys also maintains the country`s only fully privatized ground-handling operation at all the airports in Pakistan, under joint venture with DNATA, which is a part of the Emirates group. Included in the portfolio of Gerrys is an Information Technology company which includes Gerry`s Net - an Internet Service Provider, Gerry`s DSL- Broadband operator, Gerry`s Satellite & Media- Telecom provider.
Air France Cargo and KLM Cargo have integrated their commercial activities per October 2005. At the same time, both airlines started the coordination of their operational systems and activities.
