Mr. FD Malik, a renowned name in the aviation circle has recently joined Gerry`s International in 2011 to fulfill his urge to take on bigger challenges. Having worked in a senior position for a while as Director Aviation in Primo Group contributing to Charter Freighter Operations to M- East/Europe & F-East for transportation of Aircraft Engines for repairs, Mr. FD Malik brings with him a universe of experience.

He was Country Head of Emirates Pakistan for Air Cargo, covering all 5 stations KHI , LHE, ISB , PEW & SKT with a total of 39 frequencies weekly .Also started Freighter Operations for EK in Pakistan from 3 stations KHI - LHE - ISB , initially with A310f & Jumbo 747f besides B777f to cater market need of Pakistan Exports especially during mango season also weekly skd frtr ops from LHE in transit on its way DXB - TPE via LHE also as well Afghan Freighter weekly operations via via ISB.

5 Station heads were reporting to Mr. Malik, who in turn was reporting to HDQ in Dubai and with VP Emirates Pakistan.

Earlier Mr. Malik has also worked for National Carrier , PIA , earning , a foreign posting at DXB , where he was heading PIA Cargo UAE , later joined Royal Jordanian as its Cargo Manager DXB & Gulf Stations, for many years , where he was responsible for starting RJ Freighter Ops from DXB & SHJ to Europe & USA.

A Western Industry magazine, Flying Typers who took an interview of Mr. FD Malik for its publication has named him "Mr. Air Cargo Pakistan"

Mr. FD Malik was presented with "Life Time Performance Award" by Acting President of Pakistan at Hotel KHI Marriott in 2006 in ACAAP Gala Night Dinner & Awards Ceremony.

Finally he decided to come back to Pakistan when he was appointed in DXB as Emirates Cargo Head for Pakistan, where he worked till 2010.
