IHOP in Pakistan by Gerry’s Group18th October, 2020
International House of Pancakes (IHOP) opened its doors for public on 18th October 2020; the hype was long built which translated into long queues and waiting times.
The launch is part of Gerry’s Group’s plan to enhance the brand’s footprint in the food and beverage sector of Pakistan; with the success of the first store, the group would be eager to achieve the milestone of reaching 19 IHOP stores across Pakistan.
Chief Executive Officer Dine Brands (Parent company of IHOP), Steve Joyce, had earlier expressed his interest and termed Pakistan’s economy as a growing one, which stands in line with the company’s component of return to growth.
The expansion is in line with Gerry’s group’s vision to diversity and contribute to the economy of its home country; recently Gerry’s has also acquired 24 new Costa stores in United Kingdom bringing the total company owned stores by Gerry’s at 57, making it one of Costa’s largest single franchisee.
